In this Policy, “Awaz”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to True Voice Technologies Private Limited. “You”, “Your” or “Users” refer to users of Awaz Services.

For the purpose of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes Personal Information that you provide or generate when you use: (a) Awaz mobile application (the “App”); (b) https://www.awaz.co, and / or any other dedicated Awaz websites (the “Website”) (collectively, the “Services”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. When you use the Services, you accept and understand that we collect, process, and store your Personal Information as described in this Policy.

If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use Our Services. If you agree with this Policy but change your mind in the future, you must stop using the Services, and you may exercise your rights concerning your Personal Information as set out in this Policy.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Policy by your continued use of the Services after the date such revised Policy is posted.

This Policy does not apply to the third-party online or mobile store from which you install the App or make payments, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

Collection of Your Information

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App depends on the content and material you use, and includes:

Personal Information

To facilitate Your experience of using Our Services, we may collect Personal Information, including but not limited to, Your name, email address, Google profile, LinkedIn profile, phone number, photo and any information contained in Your resume/CV.

You are encouraged to always keep your Personal Information updated. Facility to correct Your Personal Information may not be available on the App or the Website. If You use incorrect Personal Information to use Our Services, we may restrict You from using Our Services or delete Your data / account.

User Application Data

Awaz will have access to your interview practice and job applications audio/video, transcript, metrics, feedback and Resume/CV to facilitate Your experience of using Our Services. Only anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve our Services. In case of job applications, only the last recorded interview audio/video, transcript, metrics and feedback and Resume/CV may be shared with the hiring company that has the job opening. In case of any other practice interview, no hiring company will have access to the Audio/Video, transcript, or feedback. Your recorded audio only response may appear as a sample answer to guide other users on answering specific questions.  For your audio/video recording to be transcribed, it is uploaded to our server, and we may process it with a third-party transcription provider, including but not limited to Amazon. We do not allow transcription providers to use your audio/video or transcript for their own purposes. 

Mobile Device Access

We may request access or permission to certain features from your device, including your device’s microphone, camera, storage space and messages (for OTP purposes only). If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

Mobile Device and Browser Data

We may collect device information about Your mobile device and/or browser such as device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, phone number, city, country, location, Your contacts, date/time of Your access to Services, browser information, information through cookies, internet protocol address of Your device and any other data you choose to provide.

Push Notifications

We may request to send You push notifications regarding your account or the App. If You wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, You may turn them off in your device’s settings.

WhatsApp Communications

We will send You WhatsApp notifications – either specific to a transaction or activity you have done on the app or to inform you of new features or opportunities. You can block the incoming messages should You find them no longer relevant. You can simply message STOP on the message window to register revoking Your consent to sending these notifications.

SMS and Email Communications

We may send You email and SMS communications from time to time to enable your usage of the app and its services.

Data Surveys

We may collect personal and other information you may provide when entering contests or responding to surveys.

Security of Your Information

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is kept confidential to the extent possible, and not inadvertently lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

We do not sell Your Personal Information to third parties or non-affiliates, except to provide Services or as mentioned in the section ‘Use of Your Information’.

Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with an optimised experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Services to:

  • Monitor and analyse usage and trends to improve your experience with the Services.
  • Compile anonymous statistical data and analysis for use internally or with third parties.
  • Notify you of updates to the Services.
  • Request feedback and contact you about your use of the Services.

This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud and/or identity theft protection.

Affiliates

We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honour this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.

Sale or Bankruptcy

If we reorganise or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity.

Hiring Companies or Recruitment Agencies

We may share your information with hiring companies or recruitment agencies only where you have applied for their job openings or you have permitted us to share some or all of your personal information including but not limited to Resume/CV, Audio/Video recordings of your final interviews, transcripts, feedback and performance metrics.

Tracking Technologies

We may also partner with selected third-party vendors, including but not limited to  analytics service providers, communication services and application hosting services, to allow tracking technologies and remarketing services on the Application through the use of first-party cookies and third-party cookies, to, among other things, analyse and track users’ use of the Application, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand user activity. By accessing the Application, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party vendors. You are encouraged to review their privacy policies and contact them directly for response to your questions. We do transfer personal information to these third-party vendors.
